Eddie Sanford Estes, III, 41, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022
Eddie was born on June 2, 1981, in LaGrange, Georgia to Jo Burdick and the late Eddie Sanford Estes, Jr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Alan Estes, grandparents, Eddie Sanford Estes, Sr. and Katie Estes, James and Martha Messer, and Ben Burdick.
Eddie loved life and he lived life to the fullest.
He was an avid University of Georgia Bulldogs football fan and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, playing paintball, mountain biking, and riding jet skis on the lake. Eddie loved all of his animals – especially his chickens.
Eddie was gifted in working with computers and enjoyed building computers and repairing them.
He is survived by his son, Eli Estes (Chloe), mother, Jo Burdick (Rick), sister, Nikki Rice (Eric), sister, Sheryl Estes (Jim), brother, Chris Burdick (Emily), special friend, Autumn Barcus, grandmother, Marie Mosele, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The Reverend Jeff McCartney officiating. His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. EDT until 8:00 P.M. EDT.
